Village Tower
This project visualizes building data extracted from OpenStreetMap by creating a three-dimensional representation of the structures. The Grasshopper script processes the data by converting building footprints into polylines and extruding them to form volumes. The building heights are determined using randomized values, which are adjustable via sliders in the script, allowing for dynamic customization. A gradient color mapping is applied to the buildings, where lower heights are represented by cooler colors like blue, and taller structures transition to warmer colors like yellow and red. The Rhino output showcases the final result as a vibrant, height-coded 3D cityscape, highlighting the variability in building elevations through the applied gradient. |
