St\u00e4dte geh\u00f6ren zu den komplexesten Systemen, die wir je geschaffen haben. Sie bestehen aus unz\u00e4hligen miteinander verbundenen Komponenten wie Menschen, Infrastruktur, Dienstleistungen und Politik, die sich st\u00e4ndig gegenseitig beeinflussen. In diesem Vortrag wird gezeigt, wie die Komplexit\u00e4tswissenschaft genutzt werden kann, um wichtige st\u00e4dtische Herausforderungen wie Mobilit\u00e4t und Zugang zu grundlegenden Dienstleistungen zu modellieren. Indem St\u00e4dte als miteinander verbundene Systeme betrachtet werden, hilft dieser Ansatz dabei, Muster und R\u00fcckkopplungsschleifen aufzudecken, die fundiertere Planungsentscheidungen erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n

Rafael Prieto-Curiel<\/strong> ist Fakult\u00e4tsmitglied am Complexity Science Hub in Wien und besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit Gewalt, Mobilit\u00e4t, Migration und urbaner Dynamik. Er arbeitet f\u00fcr die OECD und die Weltbank, wo er r\u00e4umliche und demografische Analysen von St\u00e4dten durchf\u00fchrt.
