Gosch Philipp

Phil Gosch is a senior technical artist & software engineer based in Graz. He’s specialising in game development / computer graphics with a healthy interest in new media like Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR). His main areas are in current-gen to next-gen gameready assets, illustration, product visualization as well as software engineering, game development and tool development. He has experience in nearly all areas of CG, including hard-surface or organic modelling/sculpting, shading/texturing/UV-mapping, lighting/compositing and game engines like Unity5 and Unreal4.
Phil spends nearly all of his free time is spent creating artworks, programming on side projects or learning new techniques and software. He’s also an active contributor to the local gamedev scene and helping organizing events, game jams or conferences in our area as a founding member of the gamedev association GameDevGraz.

Phil joined the Institute of Architecture and Media as an external lecturer for the Virtual Spaces Master Studio 2018: Impossible Spaces.
