Workshop Zagreb 2018

Workshop at the University of Applied Sciences in Zagreb, conducted by Milena Stavric and Albert Wiltsche.

The workshop ”Parametric Modelling and Digital Fabrication” took place at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Zagreb in February 2018. The aim of this five-day workshop was to introduce students to parametric modelling and to the CNC fabrication process using a laser cutter. The international workshop was aimed at students of civil engineering at Zagreb University of Applied Sciences and for guest students of architecture from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, University of Banja Luka and University Nikola Tesla, Belgrade.
The theme of the workshop was to design a pavilion with the waffle slab constructive system. This allowed both students of civil engineering and architecture to find the motivation to build their own object, starting with a virtual parametric design and ending with an analogue scale model.
