Digital Fabrication

In this course, the students will be able to develop experimental designs for structural or facade systems made out of clay by using parametric design tools and additive manufacturing processes, taking into account material-specific properties. 1:1 prototypes of these modules are created by the students during the course using a 3D printer specially designed for viscous materials.

The students will learn how to work with parametric design tools and additive manufacturing tools. With these instruments, they develop and produce experimental designs for ceramic structural or façade systems.
