Methods of presentation

Methods for the presentation of architecture from sketches to complex building of models: formats, layout, font, colour, abstraction, contrasts and subtle colour variations. Understanding the specific characteristics of different materials and presentation techniques.

Following successful completion of the course students will have basic knowledge and skills in the field of architectural presentation. They will be familiar with the basics of architectural model construction and working in a model construction workshop. They will have learned various different presentational and sketching techniques and understand the connection between technical and aesthetical aspects thereof. They have learned to measure and observe, scale, proportions and structures in architecture and nature and present these in sketches.
